1. Who we are

Murgatroyd Instruments ("we", "us") sells digital audio software created by Ryan Murgatroyd, based in South Africa. You can reach us at ryan@soulcandi.co.za.

2. Our products

We sell premade, downloadable software products — audio plugins in VST3 and AU formats, such as VoltageSEQ. Products are delivered digitally: after purchase you receive a download link and, where applicable, a license key by email. We do not offer consultations, custom development, or other services.

3. Payments

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, applicable taxes, and order fulfilment on our behalf. Their terms also apply to your purchase.

4. License

When you buy a plugin, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on machines you own, for making music (commercial or otherwise). You may not resell, redistribute, share license keys, or reverse-engineer the software.

5. Updates and support

Your purchase includes future updates to the same product at no extra cost. Support is provided by email on a reasonable-effort basis.

6. Warranty and liability

The software is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it stable, but we cannot guarantee it is free of defects or compatible with every system. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law, including the South African Consumer Protection Act.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your purchase.
